Sanctuary, once a thriving land rich in resources, began to descend into famine due to corruption among its people and the eruption of a massive volcano. Hearing of this, a distant kingdom attempted to settle in the land to beautify it. However, the people of Sanctuary, unwilling to allow another kingdom to interfere in their affairs, sparked a war. The kingdom emerged victorious, and a portion of the land became theirs. The former inhabitants of the newly established territory were forced to live in slums. The only surviving city in the land is the one our main character must defend. The land comprises five distinct settlements: the main city, towns, farms, the kingdom, slums, and a cursed desert where the volcano has erupted.
In Sanctuary, we begin the game alongside our main NPC, Lasey. After talking to Lasey, we receive our first defensive item.
In the game, all NPCs, like Lasey, help us find turrets for tower defense and wheels for the cart to make transportation easier.
